Nutrition & Preventive Health Student Interest Group (NPHSIG)
Sponsored by the Department of Family Medicine
The Nutrition and Preventive Health Student Interest Group (NPHSIG) is a multi-disciplinary student interest group for those interested in learning more about physical activity, nutrition, behavior change, and other topics related to preventive health.
It is run by a student volunteer steering committee. This committee is responsible for planning all events with the support of personnel in the Department of Family Medicine Student Affairs Office. An important activity of the NPHSIG is the monthly lecture. These lectures are noon-time talks open to the campus on various topics related to Nutrition and Preventive Health.
